For the first time in 55 years, The Ford’s Mustang family is join by a new member – Mustang Mach E.

The 2021 Mustang Mach-E is the first all-electric crossover by Ford and it was modeled and electric cars named after the famous pony car by the brand.

Interestingly, the Mach-E pays homage to the “Mach 1” moniker seen on old high-performance Mustangs. 

Ford said it’s gone with the name because electric cars it wanted the electrified crossover to be as appealing as a Tesla to bring electric cars into the modern age.
